Indian Market Session

Among Nifty constituents, Tech Mahindra closed at ₹1,370.50, while Bharti Airtel traded at ₹1,905.40 after hitting an intraday high of ₹1,917.60. Power Finance Corporation, Godrej Consumer Products, Punjab National Bank, and Indian Railway were among the top losers on the day, though specific percentage moves were not available. The session saw divergent sector trends with select heavyweight stocks cushioning the fall in broader indices.

GIFT NIFTY Tracks Volatile Indian Session

GIFT NIFTY opened at 23,635.50 and traded in a wide intraday range between a high of 23,706.00 and a low of 23,343.50, a swing of over 360 points. The session witnessed sharp volatility in the midday hours, with the index slumping to session lows near 23,345 around 12:25 pm before staging a recovery through the afternoon.
