GIFT NIFTY reopened for Session II at 23,983.5 at 16:35 IST on June 29, 2026, slipping 15.5 points or 0.06% from the Session I close of 23,999. The index traded in a narrow 12-point range in the opening candle, touching a high of 23,993 and a low of 23,981 before settling at 23,981.5.

The marginal gap down marked an essentially flat reopen after Session I ended at 15:40 IST. European Markets Mid-Session

European indices were trading mixed during their mid-session as GIFT NIFTY reopened, providing muted cues for Session II. The DAX index last traded at 24,671.22, down 323.61 points or 1.29%, having reached an intraday high of 24,869.63. France's CAC 40 index, tracking the largest stocks on Euronext Paris, declined 46.74 points or 0.55% to 8,384.87 from a previous close of 8,421.10. The CAC 40 market capitalisation stood at $2.80 trillion.
