Market Snapshot

GIFT NIFTY's opening strength reflected a recovery from overnight weakness, with the index clawing back losses sustained in pre-market trading. The 119-point session range between 24,548 and 24,667 suggested measured buying interest rather than aggressive momentum.

The futures contract is trading 94 points above its overnight low and 8 points below the session high as of 10:53 SGT. The modest positive gap at the open has been sustained through the first hours of trade, with the index holding comfortably in the upper half of its intraday range.
