GIFT NIFTY reopened for Session II at 23,806 at 16:35 IST on March 12, posting a gap of 76 points or 0.32% above the Session I close of 23,730. The opening candle touched a high of 23,824.5 before settling at 23,772.5 in the first five minutes.

The positive gap lifted GIFT NIFTY marginally above the previous day's close of 23,714, erasing an intraday deficit. The contract had opened Session I at 23,856 and touched a day high of 23,894 before retreating. As of 19:10 IST, GIFT NIFTY traded at 23,700, down 14 points or 0.06% from the previous day's settlement.

European Markets Trade Lower Mid-Session

European indices were trading under pressure by the time GIFT NIFTY reopened, with the DAX losing ground across multiple data snapshots.
