European Markets Trade Mixed Into Mid-Session

European equity markets presented a mixed picture as GIFT NIFTY Session II got underway, with the DAX and CAC 40 offering divergent signals. The German DAX traded at 25,979.55 in late afternoon, down 68.83 points or 0.27% from its prior close, while the French CAC 40 edged marginally higher at 8,278.77, shedding 7.63 points or 0.09% in one data feed but showing a gain of 4.97 points or 0.06% in another.

The FTSE 100 showed minimal movement, slipping 0.43 points to 10,831.09, effectively flat on the day. The broader Euro Stoxx 50 index traded at 6,385 points, down 7.73 points or 0.12% from the previous session, having lost 0.07% to settle at 6,388 points earlier in the day according to separate data.

The muted price action across European bourses suggested a lack of strong directional conviction, with no major economic releases or corporate developments driving sentiment. The Euro Stoxx 50's marginal decline of 1.4% for the month pointed to underlying caution, though intraday volatility remained contained.

GIFT NIFTY Outlook
