Heavyweight stocks led the charge, with value buying emerging as a key factor behind the market advance. Among individual movers, NTPC gained ground to 396.25, Tata Steel advanced to 214.15, Coal India rose to 467.70, and SBI climbed to 980.90. Asian Paints topped sectoral gainers with a 4.37% surge, followed by Tata Steel at 3.77%.
