The session opened at 24,412.5 in overnight trade and remained range-bound through the Asian hours, drifting lower to test 24,366 in early European hours before recovering. GIFT NIFTY found support around the 24,400 mark multiple times during the day, staging modest rallies that failed to sustain momentum above 24,480.

Indian Market Closing Data Limited

Specific closing levels for the Nifty 50 and Sensex were not immediately available in market feeds at the time of filing. Historical data from late July showed the Nifty 50 trading in the 24,300 to 24,680 range, with the index recording marginal declines earlier in the week.

Sector-wise performance indicators remained sparse, though tracking data suggested select gains in financial services, electronic manufacturing, and electrical equipment sectors based on recent sessions. Water distribution and capital goods sectors also showed strength in prior trading days.

Session II Outlook
